I love the Last night of the Proms, unfortunately I’ve never been. However, I did go to a similar last night held in a large Marquee on the River Mersey in Liverpool. They used to have a series of concerts given mostly by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and finished with the traditional songs. We got some spare seats last minute one year through a worker at the Philharmonic Hall and it was great.

driving in germany (and many other countries in europe) is generally safer, no matter the speed, because in most european countries cars have to undergo regular checks every year, or they are not allowed on the road at all. Therefore the risk of cars breaking down, loosing parts, etc. is non-existent. (while in the us (and outside of europe like india, etc.) there are so broken down cars on the street i would not recommend to go faster than walkspeed)
